I competed in buttercream cake decorating through the Family and Commity Career Leaders of America (FCCLA) throughout high school.

Above are some of the cakes that I've decorated, two of which were for the Illinois state FCCLA buttercream cake decorating competition. The top right cake won first place at the 2019 Illinois state competition, and the lower left won most outstanding as well as 1st place at the regional competition. The other two I was hired to make for private events.

My biggest skill is making buttercream roses by hand. I believe the time I spent perfecting this skill transfers into my other work in the form of fine motor skills, hand coordination and spatial awareness in my designs.
